Here are a few different resources we'll go over to get started:
Britannica Online - This online encyclopedia has general information on a lot of different topics, and you can even choose the reading level that's best for you. For this project, articles on Continents and North America are a good place to start. If you want more information, try clicking up to the next reading level, which Ms. Mernick will demonstrate.
Kids InfoBits - This is another CPS database, which means that it is a collection of information on different topics. Try the North America search for reference articles and maps. If you try to access this from home, you will need the Clinton school code - this is posted in the computer lab, so you might want to write it down.
